- Kiwis have invented a lot more stuff than you think like Sir Ernest Rutherford (New Zealander) split the atom
- A person went around the world illegally jumping off things like, the Harbour bridge, Eiffel Tower and lots of other stuff with a harness to invent the bungy jump.
- Bruce Mclaren ( New Zealander) invented the Mclaren racecar as well, where he showed off in a race.
I think this going to be a very cool thing because it will keep our brains active and also my blog will have lots more things on our blogs.
Kia ora Bruno,
ReplyDeleteAwesome! You have thought outside the box and found some really interesting facts. I really liked your fact about Ernest Rutherford, who split the atom. He has been such an influential scientist all around the world who will be an inspiration for many years to come. This excites me because New Zealanders, like us, can make a huge difference in the world. What do you think you would like to be famous for?
It is awesome to see your excitement for the Summer Learning Journey. I look forward to seeing many more of your posts over the holidays.
Have an incredible day,
Megan from the Summer Learning Journey
Thanks Megan, I would want to be famous for saving the environment and stopping global warming.
ReplyDeleteHi Bruno,
ReplyDeleteWow, that is inspiring. We need more people like you in this who have this awesome aspiration. I have just heard that my home town, Taupo, has issued a warning to swimmers as there is toxic algae in Lake Taupo. This makes me so sad and we need to do something.
Keep an eye on my google plus account for updates on the Summer Learning Journey. https://plus.google.com/u/0/111887162700389190334
Have a lovely day,
