Camp Slideshow

Hi Guys, one week ago the we went on an extraordinary camp to Mt Ruapehu where we did Skiing and Snowboarding. Before we went we started making a slideshow about Mount Ruapehu and the other mountains in that region also we went to the Hamilton Gardens and the Edmond Hillary Walkway so we answered a few questions about those places. The Parents and Staff took a lot of photos on the trip. The first lesson that I had on skiing was not very fun and boring but was good to get the basics of skiing back into my brain. The second lesson was way more fun and exciting because we got to ski from the top of Happy Valley and do jumps. At the end of the day I was a lot better at skiing. Hope you enjoy my slide and the pics that we took.

Doing this work was really fun it was even more fun going on camp and spending time with my friends.
Next year for camp I would love to go to Mount Ruapehu again for camp.
I'm still a little bit bummed out about coming back from such an exciting camp.
The hardest thing to learn on skiis was how to stop almost instantly.

  3. Awesome job Bruno, you have put a lot of effort into your slideshow. I love the slides of photos at the end with the trip sectioned off. Well done. You have written a great reflection. It is great to hear you enjoyed spending time with your friends, playing simple games and spending time on the mountain. I enjoyed watching you learn to ski, and have fun tabbogganing. What was the hardest thing to learn on your skiis? Keep up the great work.

  4. Great to read all about your camp, Bruno, to see all your photos and hear about the fun you've had and the learning you've done. A big Thank You to Waikowhai for giving you and the other students such a great experience.
I particularly enjoyed your poem! I love that while you were there doing physical things you were also reflecting and thinking about poetry and beauty.
