My Painting

Hi guys I'm back, for the past week we have been drawing and painting NZ Native Birds. I choose the Piwakawaka also know as a Fantail. The Materials that we used where Water Strength Cartilage Paper, Chromacryl Paint (I used Blue, Green, Brown and Black.)

Here are the different steps to making one of these paintings
1. Draw up your bird.
2. Get some paint and colour of your choice.
3. Then paint the background.
4. Once dried do a second coat of your background.
5.  Then paint your bird in and when dried paint a second coat of your bird.
6. When that has dried flex your bird out by painting dots of white or something on it.

One thing that I like about my painting is probably my background and it looks even better now Iv'e done the second coat.
I don't really like how my painting is organised because its a little bit messy.

  4. Hi there, my name is Luseane and i’m a student at Wesley Primary in room 4. I really like how you added detail in your text so that your viewers will understand what’s going on. The picture reminded me of a pukeho because of the way it’s shaped. The only difference is it’s a little bit shorter.
Maybe next time you could’ve used the definitions of some words so that people will understand the words properly. Could you maybe give us more information about a Piwakawaka like where it comes from and what type of bird it is. Thanks for reading my comment. http://wpsluseanem.blogspot.com This is my blog
